A heavy gauge access door uses and easy-to-use lift cambar in place of the usual threaded handle, facilitating entry into the collector. The door is fully reversible for access from either side and has an exclusive lock-out feature for worker safety. Cartridge service is further simplified through a cambar system that allows faster, trouble-free change-out.
Farr's HemiPleat filter offers twice the life and and half the pressure drop of standard dust collector cartridges. The HemiPleat line includes filter elements to fit virtually all types of new and existing cartridge dust collectors. The key to the filter's superior performance is a patented pleating technology that has never before been used in the manufacture of a cylindrical dust collection filter. An innovative media pack design holds the pleats of the cartridge open, making virtually all the media surface available for filtration - unlike conventional cartridges.
Farr has announced the release of the HemiPleat HE, their new high efficiency version which offers an unsurpassed MERV 15 efficiency rating. Available in filter sizes to fit any cartridge collector, the HemiPleat HE media is ideal for the capture of toxic and other ultra-fine dusts, and for applications where process air is recirculated downstream of the collector for energy savings. The filter combines the HemiPleat technology with an HE synthetic fine fiber media that yields the industry’s best filtration efficiency of 99.999 percent on 0.5 micron particles and larger.
Farr has combined the widely successful Gold Series filter module with custom air tables. The design incorporates all of the heavy duty quality features of the standard Gold Series. The air table can be mounted on hinges and eliminate the need for an access door or it can be designed to fit custom shaped parts. The concept is not limited to GS2's or GS4's and can be applied to units as large as can be reasonably shipped.
